ROBBIE GRIFFITHS

Robbie Griffiths began training in 1991 following success as a jockey before weight got the better of him. Working his way through the Victorian country training ranks, Griffiths first big success came in 2013 when Big Pat won the Group 2 Saab Quality on Derby Day at Flemington. Firmly entrenched among the top 10 trainers in Victoria and based at Cranbourne, in 2016 Griffiths claimed his first Group 1 success with The Quarterback in the Newmarket Handicap.
